What is REBA?
The Reward & Employee Benefits Association (REBA) is the professional association for employers offering rewards and benefits to their staff as part of a wider HR strategy to engage talent and drive success.
We are supported by leading and forward-thinking Associate Members, who are suppliers within this sector.
We offer networking events, industry commentary and collated content, government lobbying on topics such as salary sacrafice and in-depth research reports.
Our Professional Members receive a weekly email alert called REBA Express, which is also available to non-members who would like to keep up-to-date with the reward sector.
Why was REBA founded?
Employee Reward and Benefits is a discipline that often gets overlooked and yet it is key to engagement and responsible for a huge amount of spending.
Specialist compensation and benefit professionals often work in isolation, in a team of one or just a few people with limited access to industry peers.
So the aim of REBA is to bring people together at events, make introductions, distribute information and provide insight through research. We also offer helpful Professional Member services around procurement and recruitment.
Meet the REBA team:
Debi is a director of REBA. She is a well-known and highly-regarded expert in reward and employee benefits with over 20 years of media experience across live, digital and print products.
Her main focus is on creating, collating and distributing great content and valuable information that really matters to the employee benefits community.
Phil is a director of REBA. He is responsible for the development and marketing of REBA's products and services, expansion of its membership base, along with effective commercial propositions for service providers.
He has extensive media and marketing experience in sectors including HR, benefits, global mobility, recruitment, financial services, pensions, investments and marketing.
Jess is the Operations Officer for REBA. She has recently graduated from Loughborough University with a first class degree in Psychology. She has previous work experience in admin roles as well as a placement year working in marketing. Her main focus is to provide administrative and operations support to all areas of the organisation.
Suzanne is a commercial associate of REBA. She works with key players supplying benefits to this market and assists them with commercial opportunities such as membership, the directory and events.
She has 15 years of media and commercial experience within HR, legal and healthcare sectors.
Graham is a specialist researcher within HR, pay and employee benefits.
He headed up employee benefits research at Incomes Data Services (IDS) producing surveys, insight reports, in-depth research and case studies on all aspects of total reward – including pensions, share schemes, company cars, bonus schemes and flexible benefits.
After 12 years at Thomson Reuters (IDS), Graham is now a freelance writer, researcher and editor specialising in all areas of HR, including: pay and reward, employee benefits, training and development, recruitment and employee relations.
Liz is an experienced business journalist with more than twenty years’ experience across many sectors including HR, technology, retail and finance. Liz is responsible for editing and uploading content from our associate members onto the REBA site and writing the weekly newsletter. She also writes for REBA on various subjects completing several analyses of the key findings and content from our core events.
Anna is a contributor to REBA. A journalist since 2000, Anna has extensive editing, reporting and writing experience and specialises in HR, employment and management.
She is responsible for commissioning articles from reward practitioners and specialists for the REBA website, and works on various projects including REBA’s Top 50 Tech Innovators and research.
Clare is a founding Director of No-4 Media & Events, REBA’s Event Management partner. She has been working with the REBA team from the outset and helps the smooth delivery of REBA’s high-level networking events.
Clare began her career with Centaur Publishing, heading up the conferences and awards team and joining the board in her 20s. She freelanced for over 10 years, where roles included managing the global management conferences for a leading UK corporate and launching the IAB Engage conference.
Claire is an accomplished events professional with a strong background in topic generation and research, planning, budgeting, speaker recruitment, conference production, copy writing and focused marketing briefs, across a number of industry sectors including pensions, human resources and employee benefits. Claire works for REBA on several of our events including Innovation Day.
Martin is also a founding Director of No-4 Media & Events - REBA’s Event Management partner. He works closely with REBA personnel in terms of venue sourcing/management and operates as Delegate Manager for REBA events. He also manages the logistical requirements of REBA event partners and sponsors.
Prior to setting up No-4 Media & Events, Martin spent over 25 years within the TV advertising sector, gaining experience in client servicing roles across all disciplines within the industry.
Caroline manages member and event communications for REBA. She has been working in marketing and communications for more than 15 years, with most of those years based at Centaur Media plc working across many markets including HR and benefits. For the past few years Caroline has worked as a freelance communications manager for various organisations and is delighted to now work with REBA.
